Family of Abel DOUGLAS (3) & Martha ?

7. Silas DOUGLAS. Born on 9 Mar 1798 in Granville County, North Carolina. At the age of 78, Silas died in Pike County, Alabama on 10 Oct 1876.

On 10 Oct 1818 when Silas was 20, he first married Mary Elvira HARRINGTON.

They had the following children:
i. Abel. Born on 19 Mar 1820. At the age of 1, Abel died on 3 Mar 1822.

ii. Silas William. Born on 24 Aug 1827. At the age of 88, Silas William died on 19 Dec 1915.

Silas William married Mason Emeline TRULOVE.

20 iii. Martha Anne (1832- 1918)
iv. Archibald McLendon. Born on 9 May 1834. At the age of 77, Archibald McLendon died on 14 Mar 1912.

Archibald McLendon first married Catherine SMILEY.

Archibald McLendon second married Cassandra Augusta HURLEY.

v. Mary Elizabeth. Born on 29 Aug 1836. At the age of 58, Mary Elizabeth died on 25 Apr 1895. Buried in Apr 1895 in Pollard Cemetery, Pollard, Escambia County, Alabama.

Mary Elizabeth married Joseph Carson AVENT.

vi. Rabun. Born on 13 Nov 1838. At the age of 23, Rabun died in Shiloh Town, Tennessee on 6 Apr 1862.

Rabun married Jane Elizabeth McNEILL.

vii. Sion Brock. Born on 26 Mar 1844.

Sion Brock married Henrietta ROBERTS.

viii. Sehnoles. Born in 1844.

xi. Joseph.

xii. Sarah Margaret. Born on 18 May 1846.

Silas second married Charlotte Elizabeth KENDRICK.
