2. Nancy R. HOOD. Born in 1818.

On 5 Jul 1846 when Nancy R. was 28, she married Lorenzo D. JOHNSON, son of William JOHNSON (1788-) & Frances ? (1794-), in Carroll County, Tennessee. Born in 1821 in South Carolina. At the age of 55, Lorenzo D. died in 1876.

They had the following children:

iii. James W.. Born about 1841 in Tennessee.
iv. Wiley J.. Born about 1847 in Tennessee.
v. Mary A.. Born in 1845.

x. Nancy. Born in 1864.

3. Harry S. HOOD. Born about 1821 in North Carolina.

On 29 Jul 1845 when Harry S. was 24, he married Narcissa JOHNSON, in Carroll County, Tennessee. Born about 1827 in South Carolina.

They had the following children:

4. Mary Ann HOOD. Born in Feb 1823 in North Carolina. At the age of 85, Mary Ann died in Carroll County, Tennessee in 1909. Buried in 1909 in Blair Cemetery, Clarksburg, Carroll County, Tennessee.

On 15 Apr 1846 when Mary Ann was 23, she married Andrew Jackson JOHNSON, son of William JOHNSON (1788-) & Frances ? (1794-), in Carroll County, Tennessee. Born in 1821 in South Carolina. At the age of 55, Andrew Jackson died in Carroll County, Tennessee in 1876. Buried in 1876 in Blair Cemetery, Clarksburg, Carroll County, Tennessee. Alias/AKA: "Jackie".

They had the following children:

vii. Rena. Born in 1862. At the age of 83, Rena died in Carroll County, Tennessee in 1945. Buried in 1945 in Blair Cemetery, Clarksburg, Carroll County, Tennessee.

Rena married William BRECHEEN, son of Thomas Green BRECHEEN (1825-1881) & Sarah ? (1832-1891). Born in 1861. At the age of 56, William died in 1917. Buried in 1917 in Blair Cemetery, Clarksburg, Carroll County, Tennessee.

5. Martha Jane HOOD. Born in 1827 in North Carolina.

On 7 Oct 1841 when Martha Jane was 14, she married Claiborne JOHNSON, son of William JOHNSON (1788-) & Frances ? (1794-), in Carroll County, Tennessee. Born about 1814 in South Carolina. Alias/AKA: "Clab".

They had the following children:
i. Charlotte F.. Born in Aug 1840 in Tennessee. Resided in 7th District, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1900.
ii. Eliza C.. Born about 1844 in Tennessee.
iii. Sarah. Born in Mar 1848 in Tennessee. Resided in 7th District, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1900.

6. Sarah A. HOOD. Born in 1828. Alias/AKA: "Sally".

On 14 Dec 1848 when Sarah A. was 20, she married James B. LEE, in Carroll County, Tennessee. Born in 1829 in North Carolina.

Justice of the Peace for 7th District, Carroll County, Tennessee.

They had the following children:
i. Margaret J.. Born in 1850 in Tennessee.
ii. William. Born in 1852 in Tennessee.
iii. Tranquila. Born in 1854 in Tennessee.
iv. Atlas M.. Born in 1856 in Tennessee.
v. Louisa J.. Born in 1859 in Tennessee.

vii. Henry D.. Born in 1870 in Tennessee.

7. Wylie Allen HOOD. Born on 24 Feb 1832 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 76, Wylie Allen died in Tennessee on 18 May 1908. Buried in May 1908 in Stanford Cemetery, Carroll County, Tennessee. Resided in 7th District, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1900.

Military: Wylie Allen served in Company F, 7th Tennessee Cavalry, USA.

Wylie Allen married Mary Jane SCOTT, daughter of Harrison B. SCOTT (1824-1894) & Margaret SPENSER (1827-). Born on 20 Dec 1845. At the age of 70, Mary Jane died in Carroll County, Tennessee on 28 Feb 1916. Buried in 1916 in Stanford Cemetery, Carroll County, Tennessee. Resided in 7th District, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1900.

They had the following children:
