First Generation

1. Hiram MURPHY. Born about 1822 in Tennessee. At the age of 34, Hiram died in Carroll County, Tennessee about 1856.

On 6 Jan 1842 when Hiram was 20, he married Nancy WINTERS, in Robertson County, Tennessee. Born about 1820 in Tennessee.

They had the following children:
i. Elvira. Born about 1842.

On 2 Sep 1859 when Elvira was 17, she married William Riley KEE, son of William KEE (1813-1893) & Nancy SMITH (1819-1854). Born on 26 Nov 1836 in Henderson, County, Tennessee. At the age of 63, William Riley died in Prairie County, Arkansas on 26 Jan 1900. Buried in 1900 in Crossroads Cemetery, Perry County, Arkansas.

3 iii. Mary W. (1848-1905)
4 iv. Gilson (1849-1914)
5 v. Nancy H. (1854-1897)
