Yuma Fair Float
Approximately 1964
The citizens of the Yuma Community were avid supporters
of County activities. In this photo, they are
preparing to participate in the Wednesday Carroll
County Fair parade. In those days, the county schools were
closed for the purpose of the children having the
opportunity to attend the county fair. Rides were discounted
which were highly advantageous to the children.

Left to Right:
Upper: Rhonda Kelley, Carol Ann Taylor, Angie Hodge,
and Teresa Hollowell.
Lower: Elvis Umstead, Garry Gooch, Ronnie Haywood,
Dales Seagraves, Mark Williams, and Ronnie Whitaker
Peter was played by Dennis Williams, with wife in the pumpkin,
