Yuma Cotton Gin

Cotton was the main cash crop in the Yuma Community until the late 1960s. As
with other communities of the area, Yuma had its own cotton gin. The operators
of the gin (ginners) are pictured above with the gin stands. They are:
(left to right) Malcolm Edwards and Warren Birdwell.
