CLARKSBURG ACADEMY
CLARKSBURG, TENN.
THE fall session of this Institution
will open on Monday, July 20th, 1874, and will
continue twenty weeks.
Rates of Tuition as follows:
PRIMARY DEPARTMENT
including Orthography, Reading
Writing, Primary Geography, and
Mental Arithmetic, $10.00
INTERMEDIATE DEPARTMENT
Practical Arithmetic, English Grammar,
Geography, History, Natural
Philosophy, Mental Philosophy,
Astronomy, Botany, Geology, and
Rhetoric, $20.00
ACADEMIC DEPARTMENT
Algebra, Geometry, and Latin, $20.00
Pupils may enter at any time, but will be
charged from the day of entrance to the close
of the session. No deductions made
unless in case of protracted sickness.
Board can be had in private families
at about $10 per month.
