Family of James "Jimmie" L. BELUE (233) & Minnie L. SMITH

524. Hubert Earl BELUE, GGGG Grandson, M. Born on 10 May 1900 in Union County, South Carolina. Hubert Earl was 28 when he died in Union County, South Carolina on 14 Dec 1928. Hubert Earl was buried in Fairforest Baptist Church Cemetery, Union.

Grad. Union High, 1921; Draughn's Business College 1922, Macon, GA. He worked
for Drayton Mills in Spartanburg County He had a tragic ending to his life. He
was a payroll clerk, had been to the bank to get money to pay the employees of
the mill, he was followed and eyed after leaving the bank. He was shot from
the rear of the car he was riding in, on the front seat with a driver. He was
shot in the head and died instantly. The assasin, who was a Baptist preacher's

He married Ruth GARRISON, F, in 1924 in Spartanburg, Spartanburg County, South Carolina.

525. Benjamin Franklin BELUE, GGGG Grandson, M. Born in 1904 in Union County, South Carolina. Benjamin Franklin was 53 when he died in Georgia in 1957. Benjamin Franklin was buried in Riverside Cemetery, Macon, Bibb County, GA.

Edudcation: Graduated Union High School, 1920, Business Course - Draughn's
Business College. Profession: Manager of J.C. Penny Stores his entire career,
Anniston, AL. & Macon, GA. Faith: Methodist. Source: "Family Records of John

He married Sara BOATNER, F. Born on 6 Jul 1906 in Athens, Clark County, GA.

Education: 1 year college, 2 years Business School

They had one child:
i. Benjamin Franklin, 5G Grandson, M. Born in 1941 in South Carolina.

Education: B.B.A. Debree, Univ. of GA. Profession: Owner of Jewelry & Fine

tions". Ben, Jr. & the name of his wife were left out of this publication.
His name was added by Bettie P. GUSTAFSON. His children were listed in the
book along with a picture of he and his son, Buck. Children: 1) Benjamin
"Buck", III b. 12 Dec 1959 attending Ga. State Univ.; 2) Sandra Beth b. 29 Dec
1961; 3) Blake Randall b. 9 Jul 1965; 4) Guy Russell b. 28 Oct 1968.


526. William "Ted" BELUE, GGGG Grandson, M. Born on 26 Jul 1914 in Union County, South Carolina. William "Ted" was 65 when he died in Union County, South Carolina on 29 May 1980. William "Ted" was buried in Fairforest Baptist Church Cemetery, Union.

Education: Graduated Union High, entered Wofford College. Vol. for WW II in
1941, Naval Air Force. Discharged a Leiutenant. Completed education at New-
berry College, B.A. Degree in 1949. Faith: Baptist. He retired in 1979. He
died of a sudden heart attack one year later. Source: "Family Records of John

He first married Leila W. (---), F. Born on 13 Jul 1922. Leila W. died. Leila W. was buried in Fairforest Baptist Church Cemetery, Union.

He second married Lucille Sara JOHNSON, F. Born in 1915 in Walton County, FL.

i. William Ted, 5G Grandson, M. Born in 1950 in Spartanburg County, South Carolina.
