R.J. married Effie A. ?. Born in 1922. At the age of 30, Effie A. died in Carroll County, Tennessee in 1952. Buried in 1952 in Sellers Hill Cemetery, Carroll County, Tennessee.

They had one child:
i. Peggy.


187. Brooksie Nell KIRBY. Born on 31 Mar 1925 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 74, Brooksie Nell died in Huntingdon, Carroll County, Tennessee on 10 Sep 1999. Buried on 13 Sep 1999 in Sellers Hill Cemetery, Clarksburg, Carroll County, Tennessee.

Brooksie Nell married Woodrow DOUGLAS, son of Sidney Albert DOUGLAS (1876-1917) & Willie Jefferson MEALS (1881-1954). Born in 1912 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 59, Woodrow died in Clarksburg, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1971. Buried in 1971 in Sellers Hill Cemetery, Clarksburg, Carroll County, Tennessee.

They had the following children:

188. Frazier KIRBY. Born in 1928 in Clarksburg, Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 69, Frazier died in Centennial Medic, Nashville, Tennessee in 1997. Buried in 1997 in Potts Cemetery, Dickson, Dickson County, Tennessee. Frazier retired from Ebb Tide Boat Company.

Obituary: Mr. Frazier Harlon Kirby, 69, of Dickson, died Tuesday, September 9, in Centennial Medical Center in Nashville. Funeral services were conducted Friday, September 12, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home in Dickson. Interment followed in the Potts Cemetery. Mr. Kirby, the son of the late Homer Kirby and Ada Robinson Kirby, was born May 28, 1928, in Carroll County. He was retired from the Ebb Tide Boat Factory. He is survived by two sons, Phillip Kirby and Harlon Kirby, both of Dickson; two daughters, Sharon Thompson of Denton, Texas, and Donna Gaye Stump of Crossville; four sisters, Maggie Lee Kirby, Laura Kirby, Marty Sue Singleton, and Brooksie Nell Douglas, all of Huntingdon; ten grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Taylor Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Frazier married Jessie Wanita McDANIEL, daughter of Zelmer McDANIEL (1900-1996) & Hattie Mae MEGGS (1899-1991). Born on 14 Feb 1929 in Henderson County, Tennessee.

They had the following children:
i. Harlen. Resided in Dickson, Dickson County, Tennessee.

ii. Sharon. Resided in Justin, Texas.

Sharon married ? THOMPSON.


189. Maggie Lee KIRBY.

Maggie Lee married Junior Lee TUCKER, son of Alvin TUCKER (1897-).

They had the following children:
i. Ronald.

Ronald married Glenda Gail TODD, daughter of Charles Edwin TODD (1923-1997) & Mary Sue GOOCH (1920-2002).

ii. Robert.

190. Marty Sue KIRBY.

Marty Sue married William Lewis SINGLETON, son of Esther SINGLETON (1900-). Born on 25 Nov 1925 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 72, William Lewis died on 18 Mar 1998. Buried in Mar 1998 in Clarksburg Cemetery, Clarksburg, Carroll County, Tennessee.

William Lewis Singleton served in World War II, Korean Conflict, and the Vietnam Conflict.

They had the following children:
i. Gail.
