Family of Lessie CUNNINGHAM (26) & Edmund HESTER

56. Guy HESTER. Born on 13 Jan 1909. At the age of 45, Guy died on 27 Oct 1954. Buried in Oct 1954 in Farmville Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee. Resided in First District, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1930.

Guy married Ruby GOOCH, daughter of Grover G. GOOCH (1884-1922) & Mary Pearl LYONS (1888-1967). Born in 1917. Resided in Yuma, Carroll County, Tennessee in Apr 2004.

They had the following children:

57. James Bernice HESTER. Born on 13 Jun 1926. At the age of 68, James Bernice died on 20 Nov 1994. Resided in First District, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1930.

On 3 Nov 1951 when James Bernice was 25, he married Billie Imogene WILLIAMS, daughter of William C. WILLIAMS & Eula Mae BENNETT. Born on 12 Jan 1932 in Buchanan, Henry County, Tennessee. At the age of 71, Billie Imogene died in Lexington, Henderson County, Tennessee on 11 Dec 2003. Buried on 14 Dec 2003 in Farmville Cemetery, Wildersville, Henderson County, Tennessee.

Obituary: Funeral services for Mrs. Billie Imogene Hester, 71, are scheduled for Sunday, December 14 at 2:00 PM at Pine Grove Baptist Church with Bro. Jimmy Burroughs and Dr. Hoyt Wilson officiating. Interment will follow in Farmville Cemetery. Mrs. Hester, the daughter of the late William C. and Eula Mae Bennett Williams and her step-mother, Myrtie Foster Williams, died Thursday, December 11, 2003 at her residence. She was the widow of James Bernice Hester who she married on November 3, 1951. She was a retired beautician and member of the Pine Grove Baptist Church. Survivors include her three daughters: Pam Speitel and her husband Bill, Debbie Franklin and her husband Joe, Lisa Faith and her husband Kent; her son, Eddie Hester and his wife, Lisa; eight grandchildren: Melanie Jo Lawler, Jean Schultz, Matthew and James Speitel, Kade, Ross and Hailey Faith and Anthony Nevell; two great grandchildren: Summer and Luke Lawler; a brother, Marvin Lee Williams of Paris. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Marcie Lynn Hester, a sister, Eunice Herman and brothers: W.C. Williams, Homer T. Williams, Andrew Bennett Williams and Jimmie Dale Williams. In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

They had the following children:
