116. Larry Eugene ANDERSON. Born on 26 Jan 1939. At the age of 63, Larry Eugene died in Nashville, Davidson County, Tennessee on 15 Apr 2002. Resided in Mckenzie, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1970. Obituary: Larry "Gene" Anderson, 66, died Monday morning, April 15, 2002, at St. Thomas Hospital, Nashville, TN. He retired from AT&T as a system engineer in 1989. Since then he has worked as owner and President of AAA Builders. Mr. Anderson has served as Chairman of the McKenzie Water Board for 16 years, Alderman for 4 years, and Mayor for 4 years for the city of McKenzie. Mr. Anderson is a member of the First Baptist Church in McKenzie, the McKenzie Rotary Club and Telephone Pioneers of America. Services will be conducted Wednesday, April 17, 2002, at 2:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by a son, Steven; and his father James Wesley Anderson. Mr. Anderson is survived by his wife, Willie Mae Fitzgerald Anderson; sons Larry (Dianne) Anderson, Mark (Malissa) Anderson; grandchildren, Bruce and Clint Anderson, Mark Anderson, II, Luke and Anna Anderson. Mr. Anderson is also survived by his mother, Florence Kizer Anderson, of McKenzie; and brothers, James Fred Anderson of McKenzie and William Earl Anderson of Paris; and nieces and nephews. Larry Eugene married Willie Mae FITZGERALD, daughter of Clyde FITZGERALD & Virginia ?. Born on 5 Oct 1939. They had the following children:
