Buried in Mar 1942 in Jones Cemetery, Wildersville, Henderson County, Tennessee. Resided in District 1, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1910.

Obituary: Viola Vivan Wood was born November 17, 1874, and died at her home in Wildersville, March 4, 1942, aged 67 years. She was the daughter of the late Lon and Mary Ann Griggs. She was married to William Dee Wood, December 25, 1897, and to their union were born five children, one daughter, Mrs. Opal Olive of Wildersville; and four boys, Oscar, Leo, Elmer and Irby, all of Wildersville; two brothers, Ben Griggs of Yuma, and John of Wildersville. George E. Bolen conducted the funeral services in the Baptist Church in Wildersville with interment in the nearby Jones Cemetery.

On 25 Dec 1897 when Viola Vivian was 23, she married William Dee WOOD, son of Hinton WOOD (1854-) & Frances ? (1855-), in Henderson County, Tennessee. Born on 10 Aug 1879 in Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 80, William Dee died in Henderson County, Tennessee on 24 Sep 1959. Buried in Sep 1959 in Jones Cemetery, Parkers Crossroads, Henderson County, Tennessee. Resided in Wildersville, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1910.
