1. Jesse HARDY was born in 1810 in Virginia.

Jesse married Hannah GIST, daughter of Christopher GIST and Elizabeth Darby WOOD. Hannah was born about 1812 in Tennessee. She died on 19 Mar 1844 in Henderson County, Tennessee, United States of America.

They had the following children.

  2 M i Milton W. HARDY was born on 28 Mar 1837 in Henderson County, Tennessee. He died on 21 Mar 1864 in Henry County, Tennessee. He was buried in Parker Crossroads, Henderson County, Tennessee, USA.
+ 3 M ii Newton Cannon HARDY was born in Apr 1839. He died on 16 Mar 1926.
  4 F iii Martha Emeline HARDY was born in 1841.
        Martha married W. H. ROSE on 19 Mar 1861 in Carroll County, Tennessee.
        Martha also married Perritt JOHNSON on 16 Oct 1873 in Carroll County, Tennessee.
+ 5 F iv Mary Frances HARDY was born in 1843. She died on 5 Apr 1915.
  6 F v Huldah HARDY was born in 1845.
  7 M vi Joseph H. HARDY was born in 1847 in Carroll County, Tennessee.
  8 F vii Louisa HARDY was born in 1849.
+ 9 F viii Corilla Jane HARDY was born on 25 Jan 1851. She died on 22 Mar 1900.
+ 10 F ix Verona Ann HARDY was born on 20 Jan 1853. She died on 16 Sep 1931.
  11 F x Drucilla HARDY was born in Oct 1855 in Tennessee.
  12 F xi Laura HARDY was born on 3 Sep 1858.
  13 F xii Nancy C. HARDY was born on 4 Nov 1862.
