Robert was the son of Henry Clay Scott and
Durotha Isabelle Gulledge. Flossie
was the daughter of Joseph Berry Dill and Elizabeth Virginia Laycook. The
couple
were married 5 August 1903 in Carroll County, Tennessee. Both are buried
in Sellers Hill Cemetery near Clarksburg, Tennessee. There marriage would
produce six children whose names are Arvill Bennie Scott, Joseph Clay Scott,
Erin Lee Scott, Onice Garland Scott, Lucille Scott, and Robert Priestly Scott.
