Obituary: Mrs. Dissie Jane Page James, daughter of the late Daniel K. and Francis Johnson Page, was born in Carroll County, September 25, 1867, and died in the home of her son, Ivvie James, Bargerton, December 25, 1935, at the age of 68 years. She was married in November 1883 to John R. James who died November 23, 1896. Four children
from that marriage survive: Andrew James, Ivvie James, Mrs. Talmadge (Hattie) Moffitt and Mrs. Robert (Bertha) Mayo, all of the Center Ridge community. Also surviving are brothers and sisters, Mrs. N.E. Haley, Miss C.E. Page, J.R. Page, T.L. Page, all of Henderson County, Mrs. Mary Aden, Huntingdon, J.W. Page, Bruceton, and W.H. Page, Newbern.
