192. Homer Charles MEALS. Born on 14 Nov 1944. At the age of 57, Homer Charles died in Jackson, Madison County, Tennessee on 6 Jun 2002. Buried on 8 Jun 2002 in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee.

Obituary: Funeral services for Charles Meals, age 57, will be held Today, Saturday, June 8, 2002 at 3:30 p.m. at Reed's Chapel in Lexington with Phil Mitchell, Wayne Rowan and Don Cooper officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Mr. Meals died Thursday, June 6, 2002 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. He was a former teacher and principal in the Henderson County school system at Bargerton School, former uperintendent at the Clarksburg school system and presently the Superintendent at Caywood School in Lexington. He was a member of Mt. Gilead Baptist Church where he served as a deacon, a member of Gideons International and a member of the Lexington Rotary Club. He is survived by his wife, Judy Meals of Cedar Grove; one son, Nick Meals of Cedar Grove; his mother, Hazel Meals of Lexington; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Jimmy and Beth White; and a niece and nephew, Kellie and Neal Deere. The Family requests that memorials be made to the Gideons International Society.



Homer Charles married Judy Ann WHITE, daughter of Hilbert Lilburn WHITE & Jerri JOYNER (1927-2003).

They had one child:
i. Charles Nicolous. Born on 12 Feb 1980. Resided in Knoxville, Knox County, Tennessee in Apr 2003. Alias/AKA: "Nick".
