Stephen married Teresa WOOD, daughter of Elston B. WOOD.

They had the following children:
i. Jennifer.

On 14 Dec 2002 Stephen Lane married Susan Brooke CROCKETT, daughter of Greg CROCKETT & Alba WOOD, in Sand Ridge Church, Henderson County, Tennessee.

Marriage Announcement: Mr. and Mrs. Greg Crockett of Lexington are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Susan Brooke Crockett to Stephen Lane Crownover of Lexington. Susan is the granddaughter of Dorothy Woods and the late Fay Woods of Lexington and the late James P. "Bud" and Joan Crockett of Lexington. She is a 2000 graduate of Lexington High School. She is presently attending Lambuth University pursuing a degree in elementary education. She is employed with Christensen Photographics of Jackson. Lane is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Elston B. Wood of Lexington and the late J.D. and Sue Crownover of Lexington. He is a 1998 graduate of Lexington High School and is employed with Proctor and Gamble of Jackson. The ceremony will take place Saturday, December 14 at Sand Ridge Baptist Church n Lexington. Music will begin at 5:30 p.m. A reception will immediately follow in the church fellowship hall. All friends and family are invited to attend. Invitations are being sent to out of town guests only.
