Obituary: Funeral services for Mrs. Letha Lee Lewis are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. today, Saturday, December 27, 2003 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home with Bro. John D. Small, Charles Thompson and Bro. Eric Martin officiating. Burial will follow in Jones cemetery in Wildersville. Mrs. Lewis died early Friday in Lexington. She was born November 15, 1911 in Wildersville to late Jessie B. and Pearl Duke Wood. She was a homemaker and member of Wildersville Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Sammie Lewis and a son, Bud Lewis. Survivors include two sons, Mickey (Kat) Lewis of Lexington and Larry Wayne (Dianne) Lewis of Yuma; two daughters, Jewel (Robert) Lemonds of Wildersville and Judy (Keith) Taylor of Murfreesboro; a daughter-in-law, Sarah Lewis of Lexington; ten grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

27. Lothy LEWIS. Born on 15 Aug 1916. At the age of 55, Lothy died in Henderson County, Tennessee on 25 Dec 1971. Buried in Dec 1971 in Hare Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee.

Lothy married Claude Ellis ROBERTS, son of Leroy R. ROBERTS (1874-1956) & Amanda Belina AZBILL (1877-1961). Born on 30 May 1912 in Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 75, Claude Ellis died on 25 Oct 1987. Buried in Oct 1987 in Hare Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee. Occupation: Farmer.

28. Lucille LEWIS. Born in 1918. At the age of 85, Lucille died in Dec 2003. Buried on 1 Jan 2003 in Mt. Ararat Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee.

Obituary: Funeral services for Lucille Lewis Duke, 84, will be today, Wednesday, January 1, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. at Reed's Chapel with burial to follow in Mt. Ararat Cemetery. Survivors are her four daughters, Gale Blankenship of Parsons, Carol Parker of Olive Branch, MS., Dean D'Amico of Darden, Phyllis Todd of Lexington; two sons, Harry Duke of Darden and Jody Duke of Murfreesboro; one sister, Ruby Scates of Franklin, TN; twelve grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Ann Reeves.


Lucille married James Ohlen DUKE, son of James Carless DUKE (1892-1969) & Maude WILKINS (1894-1992). Born on 28 Feb 1920 in Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 80, James Ohlen died in 2001. Buried in 2001 in Mt. Ararat Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee. Occupation: Farmer.

Obituary: Services for James Ohlen Duke, 81, will be at 2 p.m. today at Pafford Funeral Home in Lexington. Burial will be in the Duke Cemetery in Darden. Mr. Duke, a farmer, died Thursday at Decatur County General Hospital in Parsons of heart failure. He is survived by four daughters, Gail Blankenship of Parson, Dean D'Amico of Darden, Carol Parker of Olive Branch, Miss., and Phyllis Todd of Lexington; two sons, Harry Duke of Darden and Jody Duke of Murfreesboro; three sisters, Ruby Davis of Darden, Lorene Maxwll of Dyer and Alma McDaniel of Lexington; and four brothers, Edd Duke of Memphis, J.C. Duke of Darden, Lois Duke of Jackson and Van Duke of Lexington. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Ann Reeves.

They had the following children:
i. Gail. Resided in Parsons, Decatur County, Tennessee in Dec 2002.

ii. Dean. Resided in Darden, Henderson County, Tennessee in Dec 2002.

Dean married ? D'AMICO.

iii. Carol. Resided in Olive Branch, Mississippi in Dec 2002.

Carol married ? PARKER.

iv. Phyllis. Resided in Lexington, Henderson County, Tennessee in Dec 2002.

Phyllis married ? TODD.

v. Harry. Resided in Darden, Henderson County, Tennessee in Dec 2002.
