+ 3 F ii Wince Ann MANESS was born about 1828. She died on 12 Jul 1918.

Elijah also married Mary EADS, daughter of Isaac EADS and Cynthia Elizabeth HAYS. Mary was born in 1824 in Tennessee. She died in 1860 in Henderson County, Tennessee.

They had the following children.

+ 4 F iii Eliza "Lizzie" Jane MANESS was born in 1831. She died in 1876.
5 F iv Elizabeth MANESS was born in 1842 in Tennessee.

6 F v Jane MANESS was born in 1843 in Tennessee.

7 F vi Sarah A. MANESS was born in 1846 in Tennessee.

8 F vii T.A. MANESS was born in 1849 in Tennessee.

+ 9 M viii James MANESS was born in Aug 1851. He died on 5 Dec 1927.
+ 10 F ix Martha L MANESS was born in 1857. She died on 18 Apr 1935.
+ 11 M x William Mark MANESS was born on 7 Sep 1859. He died on 1 Sep 1952.
