1. Robert James MILAM was born on 15 Apr 1790 in Warren County, North Carolina. He died on 10 Nov 1842 in Henderson County, Tennessee. He was buried in 1842 in Marlin Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee.

Robert married Lucy R. DOWDY. Lucy was born about 1793 in South Carolina. She died in Oct 1875.

They had the following children.

+ 2 M i Robert Lee MILAM was born about 1821. He died in 1885.
+ 3 M ii Daniel J. MILAM was born about 1822. He died on 8 May 1900.
  4 F iii Fredona M. MILAM was born on 6 Mar 1826. She died on 22 May 1848. She was buried in 1848 in Marlin Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee.
  5 F iv Arena C. MILAM was born about 1831 in Tennessee.
+ 6 M v John Cullen MILAM was born in Jan 1840. He died in Jun 1911.
  7 M vi Henry Bascom MILAM was born on 22 Jan 1841 in Henderson County, Tennessee, USA. He died on 17 Feb 1919 in Whitthorne, Carroll, Tennessee. He was buried in 1919 in Shiloh Cemetery, Whitthorne, Carroll County, Tennessee.
        Henry married Laura Triona MILAM, daughter of Daniel J. MILAM and Nancy, in 1870. Laura was born on 7 Oct 1846 in Tennessee, USA. She died on 5 Jun 1928 in Milan, Gibson, Tennessee. She was buried in Whitthorne, Carroll County, Tennessee, USA.
