2. Jonathan MONTGOMERY (General William ) was born on 21 Sep 1762 in Lancaster, Lancaster, Pennsylvania, USA. He died on 2 Sep 1852 in Carroll County, Tennessee.

Jonathan married Sarah RIGGS on 20 Feb 1783 in North Carolina.

They had the following children.

+ 3 M i George MONTGOMERY was born in 1795. He died on 18 May 1877.
+ 4 F ii Elizabeth MONTGOMERY was born in 1798. She died in 1859.
