Family of George MASSEY (9) & Sarah Emma TILSON

26. Flossie MASSEY. Born in 1881. At the age of 82, Flossie died in 1963. Buried in 1963 in Parkers Crossroads Cemetery, Parkers Crossroads, Henderson County, Tennessee.

On 23 Jan 1898 when Flossie was 17, she married William Hyson FLAKE, son of William S. FLAKE (1840-1867) & Esperan BURNETT (1838-), in Carroll County, Tennessee. Born in 1868 in Tennessee. At the age of 86, William Hyson died in Tennessee in 1954. Buried in 1954 in Parkers Crossroads Cemetery, Parkers Crossroads, Henderson County, Tennessee. Alias/AKA: "Bill".

They had the following children:
i. Flora Emma. Born in 1899. Buried in Parkers Crossroads Cemetery, Parkers Crossroads, Henderson County, Tennessee.

On 24 Dec 1916 when Flora Emma was 17, she married William Patrick DERRYBERRY, son of Elijah Franklin DERRYBERRY (1867-1950) & Lranza Pearl WILSON (1876-1915), in Henderson County, Tennessee. Born on 16 May 1898. At the age of 88, William Patrick died on 13 Dec 1986. Buried in Dec 1986 in Jones Cemetery, Parkers Crossroads, Henderson County, Tennessee. Alias/AKA: "Will".
52 ii. Willie Girlon (1903-1982)

27. Tommie Dennis MASSEY. Born on 19 Jul 1886 in Wildersville, Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 78, Tommie Dennis died on 22 Mar 1965. Buried in Mar 1965 in Sumach Cemetery, Frisbe, Missouri. Cause of death: Pneumonia and hardening of the arteries.

Tommie Dennis first married Dora Josephine PRITCHARD. Born on 17 Jan 1884. At the age of 40, Dora Josephine died on 12 Nov 1924. Buried in Nov 1924 in Sumach Cemetery, Frisbe, Missouri.

They had the following children:
i. Infant.

Died shortly after birth.
53 ii. Gladys Beatrice (1903-1996)
iii. J.D..

Died before three years old.
54 iv. James Thomas (1913-1989)
v. Jessilee.

Died at two or three years old.
55 vi. Maerene (1919-)
vii. J.B..

Died early in life.

In Dec 1924 when Tommie Dennis was 38, he second married Ann BRITT.
