Obituary: Services will be at 10:00 AM Saturday, February 9, 2002 at Dilday Funeral Home with burial in Carroll Memorial Gardens. Ms. Ross, a Homemaker, died Wednesday at Jackson Madison Co. General Hospital. Survivors: daughter, Pamela Ann Kirk of Yuma, TN; sister, Imogene Hill of Greenville, TX; brother, Robert Harlon Walker of Yuma, TN Obituary: Marjorie Faye Walker Ross, 67, of Yuma, died Wednesday, February 6, at the Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. Services were held on Saturday, February 9, at the Dilday Funeral Home Chapel. Chaplain Clayton Davis and Bro. Randal Woods officiated. Burial followed at Carroll Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers who served were Shannon Carden, Alan Cobb, Ken Rush, Jimmy Fronabarger, Josh Fronabarger, Nich Cobb, Anthony Walker and Carl Cantrell. Honorary pallbearers were Deron Hodge and Brent Fronabarger. Mrs. Ross, the daughter of the late Edd Timberlake “Jim Walker” and Joella Pritchard Walker, was born September 30, 1934, in Carroll County. She was a homemaker and a member of the County Line Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Guy Vernon Ross, who died January 1984; a sister, Jo Priestly Fronabarger; and two brothers, James Gregory (Buddy) Walker and Joe Watson (Joe Boy) Walker (who died the same day). She is survived by a daughter, Pamela Ann Ross Kirk of Yuma; a sister, Imogene Hill of Greenville, Texas; a brother, Robert Harlon Walker of Yuma; two grandchildren, Jason Wayne Kirk of Monroeville, Pennsylvania, who graduated from Stetson University in Deland, Florida in 2001, and Kelli Ann Kirk of Ocala, Florida, who graduated from high school in 2001 and is attending Central Florida Community College. Marjorie Faye married Guy Vernon ROSS, son of Cauley H. ROSS (1896-1975) & Effie Jane KELLY (1899-1995). They had one child:
183. Joe Watson WALKER. Born on 9 Jul 1939 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 62, Joe Watson died in Wildersville, Henderson County, Tennessee on 6 Feb 2002. Buried on 8 Feb 2002 in New Hope Cemetery, Yuma, Carroll County, Tennessee. Alias/AKA: "Joe Boy". Obituary: Joe (Boy) Watson Walker, 62, of Wildersville, died Wednesday, February 6, at his home. Services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, February 8, at the Chase Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Andrew Stokes officiated. Burial followed in the New Hope Cemetery. Pallbearers who served were Chris Williams, Guy Williams, Shannon Cardin, Josh Fronabarger, Nicholas Cobb, Alan Cobb, Robbie Walker, Ken Rush, Ethan Lavell and Steve Walker. Mr. Walker, the son of the late E.T. (Jim) and Joella (Pritchard) Walker, was born July 9, 1939, in Carroll County. He was an Army Veteran, a member of the Yuma Baptist Church and a member of the Alchymia Shriners of Memphis. He attended the Clarksburg High School, where he graduated in 1958. His sister, Margie Ross, passed away on the same day. He was also preceded in death by another sister, Jo Priestly Fronabarger; and a brother, James G. (Buddy) Walker. He is survived by his wife, Maxie (Hester) Walker; two daughters, Sherri Louise Walker of Lake Cormorant, Mississippi, and Wanda Lynne Walker of Cordova; a sister, Imogene (Doodie) Hill of Greenville, Texas; a brother, Harlon Walker of Clarksburg; and two granddaughters, Paige Katelin McGhee and Tess Ashlyn McGhee, both of Cordova. Joe Watson married Priscilla HESTER, daughter of Guy HESTER (1909-1954) & Ruby GOOCH (1917-). Alias/AKA: "Maxie". They had the following children:
