Benjamin Jamison
29 March 1857 - 19 December 1910
Ben Jamison, a leading
citizen and merchant of Wildersville, member of the general merchandising
firm, Jamison, Johnson, & Scott, and Vice President of the Bank of
Wildersville, died in that town Monday evening of this week at 7:40
o'clock, after an illness of two weeks of Bright's Disease, at the home of
his sister, Mrs. Mary Johnson. Mr. Jamison was known to many people, no
man having won and kept more personal friends. He w as a man of integrity
and no stress of circumstances could make those who knew him best question
him after his word was passed. He was loved in Wildersville especially, he
will be sorely missed there, and it will be hard, indeed, to fill his
place in the community. His remains were interred at Westport, Carroll
County, at 4 o'clock Tuesday afternoon, the 26th. inst.
