77. Jessie Carl AZBILL. Born on 16 Nov 1915. At the age of 73, Jessie Carl died in Jackson, Madison County, Tennessee on 5 Apr 1989. Jessie Carl married Robbie Lois COOPER, daughter of Ethan COOPER & Lela Gray TODD (1885-1960). Born on 6 Apr 1915 in Clarksburg, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 87, Robbie Lois died in Jackson, Madison County, Tennessee on 8 Apr 2002. Buried on 10 Apr 2002 in Highland Memorial Gardens, Jackson, Madison County, Tennessee. Obituary: Funeral services for Mrs. Robbie Lois Azbill, 87, will be held Wednesday, April 10, 2002, at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home with Rev. Pat Kough and Rev. Randy Rinehart officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Azbill died Monday morning, April 8, 2002, at Northbrooke Health Care Center. She was the daughter of the late Ether R. and Lela Gray Todd Cooper and was born in Clarksburg, Tennessee. She was an employee of Bemis Cotton Mill for thirty-two years and was a member of West Jackson Baptist Church. Mrs. Azbill was preceded in death April 5, 1989 by her husband Jessie Carl Azbill and by a sister, Pearl Rush, and a brother, Johnnie Cooper. Survivors include two daughters, Thelma Carpenter of Jackson and Maybell Butler of Crockett Mills, TN and one son, James L. (Jim) Azbill of Jackson, eleven grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren. Grandsons, Daryl Azbill, Kelly Azbill, Russell Emerson, Brad Butler, Chris Peterson and Hugh Butler, will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home this evening from 4:00 until 8:00 P.M. Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home They had the following children:
