On 5 Jul 1969 when Jimmy Dale was 18, he first married Diane HELMS, daughter of Robert Dennie HELMS (1911-) & Eva Louse PAFFORD.

They had the following children:
i. Marci Dale. Born on 22 Dec 1974 in Lexington, Henderson County, Tennessee.
ii. Ben Vedes. Born on 28 Aug 1977 in Lexington, Henderson County, Tennessee.

Ben Vedes married Monica ?.

On 18 Sep 1987 when Jimmy Dale was 36, he second married Yolanda BLANKENSHIP, daughter of Clayton BLANKENSHIP & Wanda PHIPPS, in Lexington, Henderson County, Tennessee.

They had one child:
i. Alexandria Phipps. Born on 5 Aug 1990 in Jackson, Madison County, Tennessee.
