Jesse married Susannah MCCUNE, daughter of Gordon MCCUNE and Agnes HUBBARD, on 8 Jan 1829 in Charlotte City, Virginia. Susannah was born on 11 Apr 1806 in Prince Edward City, Virginia. She died on 3 Jun 1899 in Gibson County, Tennessee. She was buried in Jun 1899 in Walnut Grove Cemetery, Rutherford, Gibson County, Tennessee.
