2. Henry Sanders WOOD (James Thomas ) was born on 13 Feb 1824 in Tennessee. He died on 29 Dec 1903 in Henderson County, Tennessee. He was buried in Dec 1903 in Beech River Cemetery, Lexington, Henderson County, Tennessee.

Henry married Mary Frances BUTLER. Mary was born on 28 Sep 1860.

Henry also married Nancy Jane ALTOM, daughter of Spencer ALTOM and Christina SHIPMAN. Nancy was born on 1 Jan 1818 in Lawrence County, Tennessee. She died on 7 Feb 1892 in Henderson County, Tennessee. She was buried in Feb 1892 in Beech River Cemetery, Lexington, Henderson County, Tennessee.

They had the following children.

+ 8 M vi George Washington WOOD was born on 22 Feb 1853.
+ 9 M vii Alexander Holland WOOD was born on 16 Oct 1855. He died in Jun 1941.
  10 F viii Evelyn Elmira WOOD was born in 1857 in Henderson County, Tennessee.
        Evelyn married RUSSELL.
  11 M ix Mancil Samuel WOOD was born in 1860 in Henderson County, Tennessee. He died in 1920.
