73. Minerva WILSON. Born on 30 Dec 1830 in Tennessee. At the age of 63, Minerva died on 6 Mar 1894. Resided in 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1850. Resided in District 14, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1860. Resided in District 14, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1870.

On 20 Feb 1850 when Minerva was 19, she married William Washington WOODS, son of Peter Middleton WOODS (1799-) & Jane WALSER (1808-). Born in Apr 1826 in North Carolina. Resided in 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1850. Resided in District 14, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1860. Resided in District 14, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1870. Resided in 2nd District, Benton County, Tennessee in 1900.

They had the following children:

iii. Mary. Born in Aug 1857. At the age of 56, Mary died on 9 Oct 1913. Buried in Oct 1913 in Holladay Cemetery, Holladay, Benton County, Tennessee. Resided in District 14, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1870. Resided in 2nd District, Benton County, Tennessee in 1900. Alias/AKA: "Molly".

Mary married Doctor William B. LESLIE, son of Doctor Hugh LESLIE (1820-1903) & Mary Ann JOHNSON (1827-). Born on 24 Nov 1850 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 85, William B. died in Holladay, Benton County, Tennessee on 23 May 1936. Buried in May 1936 in Holladay Cemetery, Holladay, Benton County, Tennessee. Resided in 2nd District, Benton County, Tennessee in 1900. Alias/AKA: "Bill".

No children were produced from this marriage.

iv. David. Born in 1862 in Carroll County, Tennessee. Resided in District 14, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1870.

vi. Joseph. Born in 1868 in Carroll County, Tennessee. Resided in District 14, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1870. Alias/AKA: "Joe".

vii. Adison. Born on 17 Oct 1870. Adison died on 1 Sep 1867. Buried in Sep 1867 in Wilson Cemetery, Parkers Crossroads Cemetery, Parkers Crossroads, Henderson County, Tennessee.


74. Margaret Jane WILSON. Born on 28 Sep 1837 in Tennessee. At the age of 27, Margaret Jane died in Tennessee on 24 Jul 1865. Buried in Jul 1865 in Wilson Family Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee. Resided in District 9, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1860.

In Dec 1861 when Margaret Jane was 24, she married Thomas Henry BURTON, son of James Wade BURTON (1804-1864) & Elizabeth E. WALL (1800-1872). Born on 17 Sep 1834 in Virginia. At the age of 87, Thomas Henry died in Tennessee on 19 Sep 1921. Buried in Sep 1921 in Rock Springs Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee. Resided in 14th District, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1850. Resided in 8th District, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1900.

Obituary: Dies at age 87: Thomas Burton, formerly of this county, but more recently a citizen of Carroll County, aged 87 years and 2 days, died Monday morning at the home of his son, Henry Burton, near Wildersville. Mr. Burton suffered a stroke of paralysis nine years ago and a recurrence of the stroke about four weeks before his death. The funeral occurred at Rock Springs last Tuesday. The casket was furnished by Wright & Montgomery and Mr. Wright informs us that Mr. Burton was the oldest person for whose person for whose funeral his firm has ever furnished a coffin or casket.

ii. Onnie Leoanus. Born on 10 Jul 1865 in Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 23, Onnie Leoanus died in Henderson County, Tennessee on 18 Feb 1889. Buried in Feb 1889 in Wilson Cemetery, Parkers Crossroads Cemetery, Parkers Crossroads, Henderson County, Tennessee.
