258. James Edgar SCOTT. Born on 19 Jan 1905 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 83, James Edgar died in Carroll County, Tennessee on 19 Dec 1988. Buried in 1988 in Sellers Hill Cemetery, Clarksburg, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee. Occupation: Farmer. Religion: Church of Christ.

On 24 Dec 1925 when James Edgar was 20, he married Allie Jane SIMPSON, daughter of John Priestly SIMPSON (1883-1914) & Anna May BRIDGES (1883-1968). Born on 27 Mar 1907 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 85, Allie Jane died in Huntingdon, Carroll County, Tennessee on 4 Dec 1992.

They had the following children:

563 ii. Annie Valine (1933-)
