Eddie C. BELEW: Services for Eddie C. BELEW, 86, of Atwood, retired grocer, were Friday, March 6 at Bodkin Funeral Home with the Rev. King Thetford officiating. Burial was in Poplar Springs Cemetery. Mr. Belew died Wednesday morning, March 4 at Douglas Nursing Home in Milan after a long illiness. He was a member of First Baptist Church. Surviving are three sons, Travis, of Conyers, GA, Ernest of Waterloo, Iowa and Tom of Milan; a daughter, Mrs. Wilma WEBB of Atwood; 7 grandchildren & 10 g-grandchildren. [McKenzie NP 3-11-1981] He married Bertie L. STEWART, F, on 16 Mar 1915 in Milan, Gibson County, Tennessee. Born in 1899. Bertie L. was 74 when she died in Milan, Gibson County, TN on 18 Aug 1973. Bertie L. was 74 when she was buried in Poplar Springs Cemetery, Gann, Gibson County TN on 20 Sep 1973. death date Travis Belew Mrs. Bertie STEWART BELEW, 74, wife of Eddie C. BELEW, died Saturday night at 7:00 pm the Milan Hospital after a short illness. Services were at 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 20 at First Baptist Church; burial was in poplar Springs Cemetery near Milan. She also leaves three sons, Travis BELEW of Troy, Ill, Earnest BELEW of Water- loo, Iowa, and Tom BELEW of Milan; a daughter, Mrs. Richard Webb of Atwood, & three sisters. Mrs. V.E. LOWERLY of Jackson, Mrs. W.B. Knott and Mrs. J.L. SCOTT, both of Milan. [In newspaper dated Sep. 23, 1973. They had the following children:
