2. Elizabeth BURTON. Born on 22 Dec 1829 in Joyce, Mechlenburg, County, Virginia. At the age of 83, Elizabeth died in Carroll County, Tennessee on 6 May 1913. Buried in May 1913 in Mt. Comfort Cemetery, Carroll County, Tennessee.

On 9 Jan 1854 when Elizabeth was 24, she married William G. PARISH, son of Sion PARRISH, in Carroll County, Tennessee. Born on 30 Mar 1830 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 63, William G. died in Carroll County, Tennessee on 10 Jan 1894. Buried in Jan 1894 in Mount Comfort Cemetery, Carroll County, Tennessee.

Thomas Henry second married Virginia Elizabeth DOUGLAS, daughter of Archibald Young DOUGLAS (1820-1910) & Martha Jane MORROW (1826-1871). Born on 15 Feb 1845 in Tennessee. At the age of 86, Virginia Elizabeth died in Tennessee on 3 Aug 1931. Buried in Aug 1931 in Rock Springs Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee. 5. Rebecca BURTON. Born on 10 Sep 1838 in Joyce, Mechlenburg, County, Virginia. At the age of 68, Rebecca died in Tennessee on 20 May 1907. Buried in May 1907 in Hare Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee.

Rebecca married John Duncan ROBERTS, son of Charles ROBERTS (1800-) & Mary ? (1798-). Born on 5 May 1833 in Tennessee. At the age of 89, John Duncan died on 27 Dec 1922. Buried in Dec 1922 in Hare Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee. Alias/AKA: "Dunk".

6. James Allen BURTON. Born in 1839 in Joyce, Mechlenburg, County, Virginia. At the age of 90, James Allen died in Carroll County, Tennessee in 1929. Buried in Blair Cemetery, Clarksburg, Carroll County, Tennessee. Military: Served in Company D, 7th Cavalry (US) during the American Civil War.

On 19 Jun 1871 when James Allen was 32, he married Cordelia PRITCHARD, daughter of Issac PRITCHARD (1821-1902) & Samantha BURNETT (1829-1898), in Carroll County, Tennessee. Born in 1854. At the age of 30, Cordelia died in Carroll County, Tennessee in 1884. Buried in Blair Cemetery, Clarksburg, Carroll County, Tennessee.

On 25 Dec 1894 when Mary Etta was 18, she married Eugene GOOCH, son of James L. GOOCH (1843-1915) & Elizabeth Frances TODD (1848-1933), in Carroll County, Tennessee. Born in 1874. At the age of 76, Eugene died in 1950. Buried in 1950 in New Hope Cemetery, Carroll County, Tennessee.

7. George Wade BURTON Senior. Born in 1843 in Joyce, Mechlenburg County, Virginia. At the age of 57, George Wade died in Fulton County, Kentucky on 16 Mar 1900. Buried in 1900 in Fairview Cemetery, Fulton, Kentucky. Military: Served in Company I, 7th Tennessee Cavalry (US) during the American Civil War.

In 1866 when George Wade was 23, he married Emily Jane BELEW, daughter of Thomas BELEW (1823-1875) & Elizabeth Caroline PHILLIPS (1825-1876). Born on 18 Nov 1845 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 54, Emily Jane died in Fulton, Kentucky on 23 May 1900.

They had the following children:

	i.	James Thomas. James Thomas died in 1929. James Thomas married Ada RINGO.
	ii.	Betty Elizabeth. Born in 1868 in Fulton County, Kentucky. Betty Elizabeth married Fate RASCOE.

	iv.	Janie. Born in 1872 in Fulton County, Kentucky.
	v.	Donna G.. Born on 24 Aug 1874 in Fulton County, Kentucky. At the age of 29, Donna G. died in Fulton County, Kentucky on 25 Jul 1904. Donna G. married George F. WEIS.

	viii.	Edmond Walter. Born in 1881. At the age of 19, Edmond Walter died on 24 Mar 1900.

8. William Andy BURTON. Born in 1845 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 74, William Andy died in Henderson County, Tennessee on 2 Jul 1919. Buried in Jul 1919 in Jowers Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee.

William Andy Burton was living with his brother, Thomas Henry Burton, in the 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee, in 1870.

Obituary: Born 1845 in Carroll County; moved to the this county; married Eliza Jowers and raised six children in Henderson County. Burial at Jowers graveyard. Br. Jim Lewis officiating.

William Andy married Elizabeth JOWERS. Born in 1852. At the age of 65, Elizabeth died in 1917.
