86. Leva Jane PENDERGRASS. Born in 1893 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 76, Leva Jane died in Carroll County, Tennessee in 1969. Buried in 1969 in Roans Creek Cemetery, Carroll County, Tennessee.

On 29 Sep 1918 when Leva Jane was 25, she married Lemmie J. GOOCH, son of William L. GOOCH (1869-1944) & Lenora F. WALL (1872-1950), in Carroll County, Tennessee. Born in 1896 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 77, Lemmie J. died in Carroll County, Tennessee in 1973. Buried in 1973 in Roans Creek Cemetery, Carroll County, Tennessee.

87. Jessie Lee PENDERGRASS. Born on 25 Oct 1897 in Yuma, Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 92, Jessie Lee died in Clarksburg, Carroll County, Tennessee on 2 Dec 1989. Buried in Dec 1989 in Clarksburg Cemetery, Clarksburg, Carroll County, Tennessee. Religion: Member of New Liberty Independent Baptist Church, 7th District, Carroll County, Tennessee.

On 20 Feb 1921 when Jessie Lee was 23, he married Florence DOUGLAS, daughter of Sidney Albert DOUGLAS (1876-1917) & Willie Jefferson MEALS (1881-1954), in Carroll County, Tennessee. Born on 19 Sep 1902 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 83, Florence died in Clarksburg, Tennessee on 31 May 1986. Buried in 1986 in Clarksburg Cemetery, Clarksburg, Carroll County, Tennessee. Religion: New Liberty Independent Baptist Church, Carroll County, Tennessee.

Obituary: Services for Mrs. Florence Douglas Pendergrass, 82, of Clarksburg, were at 3 p.m. Sunday, June 2, at Clarksburg Baptist Church with the Rev. Harold Carver officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery with Dilday Funeral Home of Huntingdon in charge. Mrs. Pendergrass, wife of Jessie L. Pendergrass, died Friday afternoon, May 31, at her home after a long illness. She was a native of Carroll County and a member of the New Liberty Baptist Church. Besides her husband, she leaves four daughters, Mrs. Brooksie McDaniel and Mrs. Neta Lovell both of Yuma, Mrs. Willie Scott of Huntingdon and Mrs. Joyce Altom of Clarksburg; two sons, Adrian Pendergrass of Yuma and Cecil Pendergrass of Memphis; five sisters, Mrs. Donnie Kirby of Huntingdon, Mrs. Nancy Scott of Clarksburg, Mrs. Ollie Breeden of Yuma, Mrs. Odell Moore of Atwood, and Mrs. Opal Gately of Cedar Grove; nine grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

They had the following children:
i. Infant. Born in 1921 in Carroll County, Tennessee. Infant died in Carroll County, Tennessee in 1921.

ii. James Adron. Born on 12 Jul 1922 in Clarksburg, Carroll County, Tennessee. Resided in Huntingdon, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1999.
