24. Andrew Jackson DILL. Born on 6 Sep 1856 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 90, Andrew Jackson died in Ozark, Arkansas on 11 Jan 1947.

Andrew Jackson first married Lula Rachel MARTIN.

They had the following children:

On 21 Mar 1888 when Andrew Jackson was 31, he second married Sarah BUSH. Born on 14 Feb 1870 in Kentucky. At the age of 58, Sarah died in Ozark, Arkansas on 28 Apr 1928.

25. Emerson Ulysses DILL. Born on 1 May 1864 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 56, Emerson Ulysses died in Carroll County, Tennessee on 25 Apr 1921. Buried in Apr 1921 in Palmer Shelter Cemetery, Carroll County, Tennessee.

Will: Will of Emerson U. Dill

Dated February 3, 1921

Know all by these present that I Emerson U. Dill have this day entered into and hereby make my last will and testament and hereby revoke all wills made by me at any time.

1st I direct my funeral expenses and all my debts be paid as soon after my death as possible out of any monies that I may die possessed of or may first come into the hands of my Executor.

2nd I hereby will and bequeath to Joan Dill, my lawful wife all of the real estate and mortgages and deed of trusts and all notes and accounts on hand at my death.

3rd I hereby will bequeath to Joan Dill all of my personal property consisting of all household and kitchen furniture also all framing tools and machinery on hand at my death.

4th I hereby will and bequeath to Joan Dill my lawful wife all of stock including all horses and all cattle and all hogs and all other stock on hand at my death including all poultry on hand and also our 2 horse wagon with all farm gear on hand also our buggy and harness also all cotton on hand.

5th I hereby will and bequeath to Joan Dill my lawful wife all money on hand and on deposit in State Farmers Bank at Huntingdon Tennessee.

6th I hereby will and bequeath to Joan Dill my lawful wife one policy for one thousand dollars on the Missouri State Life Insurance Co. The same being a joint policy.

7th I also will at the death of my lawful wife Joan Dill that Nola Foster wife of John Foster shall equally share with all of my bodily heirs and that all property on hand shall be equally divided between all the heirs Nola Dill Foster included in the division.

8th Lastly I do hereby nominate and appoint Joan Dill my lawful wife my Executor in witness. Whereof I do hereby set my hand this third day of February nineteen hundred and twenty one.

Emerson Ulysses married Joann A. LAYCOOK. Born on 4 May 1860 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 78, Joann A. died in Carroll County, Tennessee on 6 Feb 1939. Buried in Feb 1939 in Palmer Shelter Cemetery, Carroll County, Tennessee.

26. Zora Belle DILL. Born in 1869.

On 2 Mar 1886 when Zora Belle was 17, she married Joseph Parker LACY Junior, in Carroll County, Tennessee. Born in 1857 in Tennessee. At the age of 83, Joseph Parker died in Chico, Texas in Oct 1940. Buried in 1940 in Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Resided in 7th District, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1900.

They had the following children:
i. Nannie A.. Born in Jan 1887.

ii. Charles T.. Born in Aug 1889.

27. John William DILL. Born on 5 Nov 1870 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 90, John William died on 1 Aug 1961. Buried in Aug 1961 in Palmer Shelter Cemetery, Huntingdon, Carroll County, Tennessee. Resided in District 7, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1900. Resided in District 12, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1920. Resided in District 12, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1930. Occupation: Farmer.

On 2 Jan 1890 when John William was 19, he first married Anna SMOTHERS.

On 28 Dec 1898 when John William was 28, he second married Mary Etta CRIDER, daughter of Felix Henry CRIDER (1838-1924) & Lavenia Elizabeth LAYCOOK (1845-1925). Born on 24 Jul 1879 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 92, Mary Etta died in Carroll County, Tennessee on 24 May 1972. Buried in May 1972 in Palmer Shelter Cemetery, Huntingdon, Carroll County, Tennessee. Resided in District 12, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1930.

28. George Thomas DILL. Born on 10 May 1872. At the age of 24, George Thomas died in Carroll County, Tennessee on 11 Nov 1896. Buried in 1896 in Stanford Cemetery, Carroll County, Tennessee.

On 18 Aug 1895 when George Thomas was 23, he married Martha A. SCOTT, daughter of Greenberry SCOTT (1852-1935) & Margaret Elizabeth YORK (1853-1904). Born on 9 Sep 1878. Buried in Corunna, Lake County, Tennessee.

29. Mary Edna DILL. Born on 13 Oct 1875 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 68, Mary Edna died in Marvell, Arkansas on 4 May 1944. Buried in May 1944 in Marvell Eventide Cemetery, Marvell, Phillips County, Arkansas.

On 29 Dec 1891 when Mary Edna was 16, she married John Allen MERRIT, son of Hadley MERRIT & Kissiah ?, in Carroll County, Tennessee. Born on 17 Mar 1869 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 87, John Allen died on 19 Nov 1956. Buried in Nov 1966 in Marvell Eventide Cemetery, Marvell, Phillips County, Arkansas.

They had the following children:
i. Joseph Claude. Born on 26 Jan 1893. At the age of 76, Joseph Claude died on 10 Oct 1969.

ii. Mattie Florence. Born on 26 Sep 1896. At the age of 86, Mattie Florence died on 5 Oct 1982. Buried in Oct 1982 in Fall River Mills, Shasta, California.

iii. Mary Grace. Born on 23 Apr 1899. At the age of 35, Mary Grace died on 20 Apr 1935.

iv. Infant. Born on 4 Jun 1902. Infant died on 4 Jun 1902.

v. Oma Lee. Born on 31 Oct 1903. At the age of 51, Oma Lee died on 11 Mar 1955.

64 vi. Vera Lizzie (1908-2002)
vii. Gertie Lexie. Born on 1 Jul 1911. At the age of 75, Gertie Lexie died in Holly Grove, Arkansas on 20 Apr 1987.

Gertie Lexie married Dick SHADDEN.

viii. Effie Mae. Born in Aug 1914 in Marvell, Phillips County, Arkansas. At the age of 85, Effie Mae died in San Bernadino, California on 4 Feb 2000.

Effie Mae married Govenor Wilbur WOODS. Born on 22 Feb 1902. At the age of 91, Govenor Wilbur died in San Bernadino, California on 21 Jan 1994.
