On 1 Feb 1914 when Lucy Elizabeth was 19, she married David Homer ESKEW, son of George Granville ESKEW (1855-1942) & Frances Alice TOSH (1861-1922), in Carroll County, Tennessee. Born on 22 Aug 1893. At the age of 89, David Homer died on 15 May 1983. Buried in May 1983 in Palmer Shelter Cemetery, Carroll County, Tennessee.

Guy Ellwood married Erin Captolie HOOD, daughter of Lee Onnie HOOD (1875-1916) & Geneva J. Obituary: Services for Harrison Pendergrass, 90, were Sunday at Clarksburg Church of Christ with Bro. Don Turnmire officiating. Burial was in Sellers Cemetery with Dilday Funeral Home in charge. Mr. Pendergrass died last Friday morning at Care Inn Nursing Home in Huntingdon after a long illness. He was a member of the Clarksburg Church of Christ for more than 35 years. Surviving are two sons, Grover Pendergrass of Huntingdon and Gordon Pendergrass of Dallas, Tx.; four daughters, Mrs. Mildred Ledsinger and Mrs. Sylvia Brandon both of Huntingdon, Mrs. Betty Pullien of Maple Heights, Ohio, and Mrs. Marie Hilliard of Macon, Ga; 17 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

They had the following children:
i. Carl Odie. Born on 26 Sep 1920 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 59, Carl Odie died in Madison County, Tennessee on 1 Jan 1980. Buried in Jan 1980 in Sellers Hill Cemetery, Carroll County, Tennessee. Resided in District 13, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1930.

Obituary: Odie Pendergrass, 59, died January 1, 1980, at Madison General Hospital in Jackson. Funeral services were held January 3, at 3 p.m. at the Church of Christ with Clifford Lyons, minister, officiating. Burial was in Sellers Cemetery. Dilday Funeral Home was in charge. Survivors include his father, Harrison Pendergrass of Clarksburg Community; two brothers, Grover Pendergrass of Huntingdon and Gordon Pendergrass of Lexington; five sisters, Miss Kathleen Pendergrass, Mrs. Mildred Ledsinger and Mrs. Sylvia Brandon, all of Huntingdon, Mrs. Marie Hilliard of Dallas, Texas, and Mrs. Betty Pullin of Cleveland. Mr. Pendergrass was employed with Thompson Products.

Gaylon Kathleen. Born on 1 Apr 1922 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 60, Gaylon Kathleen died in Huntingdon, Carroll County, Tennessee on 13 Oct 1982. Buried in Oct 1982 in Sellers Hill Cemetery, Carroll County, Tennessee. Resided in District 13, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1930. Religion: Clarksburg Church of Christ, Clarksburg, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee.

Obituary: Services for Miss Gaylon Kathleen Pendergrass, 60, of Huntingdon, were at 4:30 p.m. October 14 at Clarksburg Church of Christ with Minister Ivie Powell officiating. Burial was in Sellers Cemetery with Dilday Funeral Home in charge. Miss Pendergrass died October 13 at Care Inn Nursing Home after a short illness. She was a member of Clarksburg Church of Christ. Surviving are her father, Harrison Pendergrass of Clarksburg; four sisters, Mrs. Marie Hilliard of DeSoto, Texas, Mrs. Betty Pullin of Maple Heights, Ohio; Mrs. Mildred Ledsinger and Mrs. Sylvia Brandon, both of Huntingdon; two brothers, Grover Pendergrass of Huntingdon and Gordon Pendergrass of Dallas, Texas.

Obituary: HUNTINGDON: Services for Ila Adel Dill, 94, were conducted on Friday, July 23 at 2:00 p.m. at the Christian Chapel Church of Christ with Brother Doug Sellers and Brother David Young officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery. Mrs. Dill died Tuesday, July 20 at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon. She was born February 13, 1910 in Carroll County to the late William Henry Clay and Fannie Zooann Rigsby Scott. She was a retired employee of Publix Shirt Corp. and a member of the Christian Chapel Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dee Dill; a daughter, Shirley Reeves and an infant son. Survivors include two daughters, Frances McCaslin and Evone Eskew, both of Huntingdon; two sons, Glenn Dill of Zelwood, Florida and James Dill of New Johnsonville; one brother, Lois Scott of Clarksburg; 18 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren and 16 great-great-grandchildren. Dilday Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

69. Matthew Alton DILL. Born on 24 Aug 1904 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 58, Matthew Alton died in Huntingdon, Carroll County, Tennessee on 8 Sep 1962. Buried in Sep 1962 in Christian Chapel Church of Christ, Carroll County, Tennessee.

On 19 Dec 1926 when Matthew Alton was 22, he married Zelma Zula MANN, daughter of Charlie Homer MANN (1872-1925) & Lydia Ellen HARDY (1883-1968). Born on 29 Jul 1911 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 88, Zelma Zula died in Huntingdon, Carroll County, Tennessee on 29 Jan 2000. Buried in Jan 2000 in Christian Chapel Church of Christ Cemetery, Carroll County, Tennessee.

Obituary: Zula Dill, 88, of Cedar Grove, died Saturday, January 29, at the Baptist Memorial Hospital. Services were held on Monday, January 31, at the Christian Chapel Church of Christ. Burial followed in the church cemetery. Brother Doug Sellers officiated the services. Dilday Funeral home was in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Dill, the daughter of the late Homer and Lydia Hardy Mann, was born July 29, 1911. She was a retired employee of Publix Shirt Factory and a member of the Christian Chapel Church of Christ.
She is survived by four daughters, Faye Sellers, Floye Ledsinger, Brooksie Parham, all of Huntingdon, and Marjorie Hampton of Hollow Rock; two sons, Tommy Otis Dill of Bruceton and Kenneth E. Dill of Lebanon; three sisters, Verdie Wooters and Mable McMackin, both of Huntingdon, and Aline Daniels of Murfreesboro; 18 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and a great-great grandson.

They had the following children:
