15. John Comer GRIGGS. Born in 1836 in Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 26, John Comer died in Henderson County, Tennessee in Nov 1862.

John Comer married Frances Elliotte TODD, daughter of Benjamin TODD Senior (1808-1870) & Ruth SHERROD (1815-), in Henderson County, Tennessee. Born in 1842 in Henderson County, Tennessee. Resided in District 9, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1880.

They had the following children:
i. Ruthie Jane. Born in Aug 1860 in Henderson County, Tennessee.
43 ii. John William (1863-1949)
