Family of James Alford RUSH (6) & Cordelia Jane JOWERS John Thomas married Minnie Frances HALL, daughter of William Arthur HALL Senior (1846-1927) & Mary C. LYON (1854-1927). Born in 1880. At the age of 88, Minnie Frances died in Henderson County, Tennessee on 8 May 1968. Buried in May 1968 in Parkers Crossroads Cemetery, Parkers Crossroads, Henderson County, Tennessee. Resided in District 9, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1900. Resided in District 1, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1920. They had the following children:
24. Hallie Ellis RUSH. Born on 28 Mar 1886. At the age of 52, Hallie Ellis died in Tennessee on 29 May 1938. Buried in May 1938 in Parkers Crossroads Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee. Resided in District 1, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1910. Resided in District 1, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1920. Obituary: Hallie Ellis Rush was born March 28, 1886, and died suddenly at his home near Wildersville, May 29, 1938. He was the son of the late Alf and Cordelia Rush. He was married March 5, 1911, to Susie Elizabeth Ledsinger, and to this union were born two daughters, Mrs. J. M. Lewis and Jamie, who, with their mother survive. He leaves his brother, John Rush of Wildersville; and one sister, Mrs. Cecil (Carrie) Wall of Route 1, Yuma. One brother, Bill, preceded him to the grave almost two years ago. On 5 Mar 1911 when Hallie Ellis was 24, he married Ovie Susan LEDSINGER, daughter of Daniel Webster LEDSINGER (1863-1943) & Leaomie L. PENDERGRASS (1868-1930). Born in 1893 in Tennessee. At the age of 81, Ovie Susan died in Tennessee in 1974. Buried in 1974 in Parkers Crossroads Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee. Resided in Wildersville, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1930. Resided in District 1, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1920. They had the following children:
25. Carrie Euluah RUSH. Born on 10 Sep 1892 in Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 82, Carrie Euluah died on 20 Apr 1975. Buried in 1975 in Roans Creek Cemetery, Carroll County, Tennessee. Resided in District 9, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1900. Resided in District 1, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1910. On 2 Oct 1915 when Carrie Euluah was 23, she married Dennis Cecil WALL, son of Henry Clay WALL (1847-1914) & Dephia Ann FLAKE (1852-1934). Born on 7 Mar 1892 in Yuma, Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 62, Dennis Cecil died in Henderson County, Tennessee on 6 Jan 1955. Buried in Jan 1955 in Roans Creek Cemetery, Carroll County, Tennessee. Occupation: Farmer. Obituary: Dennis Cecil Wall was born March 7, 1892; passed away Jan. 6, 1955 at his home near Parkers Cross Roads in Henderson County. He was the son of the late Henry Clay and Delphia Ann Wall, and was the last member of his family. Eight brothers and one sister preceded him to the grave. He was 62 years and 10 months of age. On Oct 2. 1915 he was married to Miss Carrie Rush who survives him. He leaves four children, Mrs. Trula Mae McDaniel, Mrs. Louise Grant, Mr. Laron Wall of the home community, and Mr. Lindon Wall of Huntingdon. Laron, Lindon and Louise being triplets. He leaves three grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends to mourn his passing. He was a veteran of World War I and a member of the American Legion. Early in life he united with the Church of Christ at Roans Creek. For several years he had been in failing health and had spents lots of his time in the veterans hospital at Nashville and underwent several operations. His passing leaves a shadow over his home that cannot be lifted. He was always jolly and met everyone with a smile, and bore his suffering with more patience than is commonly seen. He was a good husband and loving father. Many the hearts are sad when they realize he is no more. But thanks to God who giveth us strength to bear our sorrows. He will be greatly missed in his community and especially i his home, where his vacancy can never be filled. We are in great sympathy with the companion and children. All we can say to the ones in deepest mourning is that "God in his goodness doeth all things well." He gathers his flowers when he chooses. The last years of his life his suffering was intense, but constant loving care was given throughout his entire sickness. They had the following children:
