Family of John DILL (2) & Mary Ann BARRETT

3. Stephen DILL. Born on 9 Jan 1765 in Kent County, Delaware. At the age of 72, Stephen died in Greeneville County, South Carolina on 19 Mar 1837.

In 1785 when Stephen was 19, he married Mary PIKE, in Caswell County, North Carolina. Born in 1770 in Orange County, North Carolina. Alias/AKA: "Polly".

They had the following children:
i. Elijah Lewis. Born in 1786 in Caswell County, North Carolina.

4 ii. John Franklin (1790-1879)
iii. Jesse. Born in 1792 in Greeneville County, South Carolina.

iv. William M.. Born in 1794 in Greeneville County, South Carolina.

v. Frances. Born in 1796 in Greeneville County, South Carolina.

vi. Charles S.. Born in 1798 in Greeneville County, South Carolina.

In 1825 when Charles S. was 27, he married Rebecca JOHNSON, daughter of Claiborne JOHNSON (1759-1816) & Mary HAWKINS, in Greeneville County, South Carolina. Born in 1805. At the age of 85, Rebecca died in Greeneville County, South Carolina in 1890.

vii. Elias. Born on 22 May 1801 in Greeneville County, South Carolina.

viii. Mary. Born in 1804 in Greeneville County, South Carolina. Alias/AKA: "Polly".

ix. Stephen. Born in 1806 in Greeneville County, South Carolina.

x. Ezias Hiram. Born in 1808 in Greeneville County, South Carolina.

5 xi. James M. (1810-1870)
xii. Thomas Jefferson. Born in 1812 in Greeneville County, South Carolina.

xiii. George Washington. Born in 1815 in Greeneville County, South Carolina.

xiv. Benjamin F.. Born in 1820 in Greeneville County, South Carolina.
