4. John Franklin DILL Senior. Born in Jan 1790 in Greenville District, South Carolina. At the age of 88, John Franklin died in Carroll County, Tennessee in 1879. Buried in 1879 in Stanford Cemetery, Carroll County, Tennessee. Resided in 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1870.
John Franklin married Catherine ROSS, daughter of James ROSS (1760-1843) & Catherine NOUITY (1766-1851). Born in 1796 in Greenville District, South Carolina. At the age of 84, Catherine died in Clarksburg, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1880. Buried in 1880 in Stanford Cemetery, Carroll County, Tennessee. Resided in 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1870.

5. James M. DILL. Born in 1810 in Greeneville County, South Carolina. At the age of 60, James M. died in Carroll County, Tennessee in 1870.
In 1832 when James M. was 22, he married Frances Laviney SHEPHERD, in Greeneville County, South Carolina. Born in 1806 in Virginia.
