Family of James E. RUSH (2) & Abigail COLEMAN

11. Nancy RUSH. Born in 1869 in Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 87, Nancy died in 1956. Buried in 1956 in Jones Cemetery, Parkers Crossroads, Henderson County, Tennessee.

Nancy married Samuel WEBB, son of Thomas WEBB (1816-1875) & Elizabeth MYRACLE (1838-). Born in 1867 in Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 78, Samuel died in 1945. Buried in 1945 in Jones Cemetery, Parkers Crossroads, Henderson County, Tennessee. Resided in District 9, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1870.

They had the following children:

iv. Mary Sue. Born in 1895.

v. Ellie M.. Born in 1897.

Ellie M. married Truman LEWIS.

12. Susie E. RUSH. Born in 1871 in Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 86, Susie E. died in 1957. Buried in 1957 in Hare Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee.

Susie E. married Charles Thomas ROBERTS, son of John Duncan ROBERTS Senior (1833-1922) & Rebecca BURTON (1838-1907). Born in 1871 in Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 73, Charles Thomas died in Henderson County, Tennessee on 30 Jan 1944. Buried in 1944 in Hare Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee. Resided in Henderson County, Tennessee in 1923.

Obituary: Dies After Long Illness: C.T. (Tom) Roberts, aged 73 years, died January 30, 1944, after a lingering illness. He had spent nearly all of his life near Alberton. He was married to Miss Susie Rush, who survives, with their children: Duncan, Willie, Lizzie Stanford, Mae Webb, Etta Smith, Gertrude Rawls, Ruby Pitts and Madge Johnson. Elder N.B. Hardeman assisted by Joe Cook, VanDyke, conducted the funeral services in the Hare Cemetery near his old home place.

They had the following children:

13. Melvina V. RUSH. Born in 1875 in Tennessee. At the age of 53, Melvina V. died on 1 Oct 1928. Buried in Oct 1928 in Hare Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee. Alias/AKA: "Mellie".

Obituary: Mrs. Mollie (Melvina) Cozart: Wife of Sam Cozart, died October 1, 1928. She was married to Mr. Cozart in 1890 and to them were born seven children, five of whom are living. Interment was in the Hare Cemetery.

In 1890 when Melvina V. was 15, she married Sam M. COZART, son of Rufus Davis COZART (1842-1924) & Amanda Mae MILLER (1844-1877). Born in 1870 in Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 90, Sam M. died in 1960. Buried in 1960 in Hare Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee. Resided in Lexington, Henderson County, Tennessee in Jan 1948. Resided in District 9, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1870. Resided in District 1, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1910.

They had the following children:
i. Infant. Born on 1 Dec 1891. Infant died on 12 Dec 1891. Buried in Dec 1891 in Cozart Cemetery, Wildersville, Henderson County, Tennessee.

ii. J.R.. Born on 13 Sep 1898. At the age of 13, J.R. died on 24 Dec 1911. Buried in Dec 1911 in Hare Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee.


14. Albert Edward RUSH. Born on 27 Mar 1880 in Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 86, Albert Edward died in Henderson County, Tennessee on 11 Oct 1966. Buried in Oct 1966 in Hare Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee.

On 8 Jan 1903 when Albert Edward was 22, he married Caldonia Mae AZBILL, daughter of Rayburn C. AZBILL (1840-1900) & Sarah Ann GARNER (1848-1915), in Henderson County, Tennessee. Born on 12 Jun 1885 in Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 77, Caldonia Mae died in Henderson County, Tennessee on 2 May 1963. Buried in May 1963 in Hare Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee. Alias/AKA: "Donia".

They had the following children:

46 iii. Oscar Edward (1909-1981)
47 iv. James Lawrence (1917-1999)
v. Rayburn. Born on 2 Oct 1924. At the age of 13, Rayburn died on 7 Jun 1938. Buried in Jun 1938 in Hare Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee. Resided in 14th District, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1930. Alias/AKA: "Pete".
